The day you met.....

Thanks 1980 for your post...this is a take off from it. Valentines day is coming up, so I want to ask all of you..

1. How did you met your significant other???

2. How did you know that your spouse was "the one"?

1. For me, I met "Mac Daddy" on a blind date on Labor Day weekend of '95. We continued to date from then on, were engaged in 1yr. and 3 mo., and married after knowing each other for 3 years.

2. After three months of dating, there was no question in my mind that I wanted to marry Chris. He was/is truly an amazing man...generous, loving, giving, encouraging, humble, soft-spoken, kind, trusting, honest, and handsome. I could go on and on, but I know we will be together until death parts us, because we have God on our side.

I found this picture while looking up lyrics for "I can only imagine" by Mercy ME. Isn't this just beautiful. I can ONLY imagine. Have a blessed day.

Peace of Prayer

I find myself praying quit a bit lately. It is over both small things (Lord, please help me find a shoe) to larger things (Chris' buisness). What is amazing is the peace that I feel after praying. This is an area of my spiritual walk that I am attempting to improve. God needs to hear our joys and sorrows...so let us not forget Him while we are on the mountain top. Often times our human pride may step in and forget the climb was not because of us, but because of Him. The challenging times strenthen our resolve and transform our character to be more like Christ.

Phil 4:6-7
6(A)Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by (B)prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

7And (C)the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will (D)guard your hearts and your (E)minds in (F)Christ Jesus.

Trinity Skye is ONE!!!!

Well, my baby is ONE. She really enjoyed her cupcake, in fact she ate two. Trinity has brought so much joy to our family, and I can't wait to see what God has planned for her.
