Goin' Hunting!!!!

Chris has this wonderful opportunity to go hunting this week. I am truly excited for him, because this is something that he craves, but he just was not exposed to it as a child. We have had many talks about the instinct to hunt and provide. A big thanks to the men who have invited him to go along. Chris needs this experience (and many more) to help fullfill that void. Hopefully, one day, he can hunt with our boys (and girls) if they want to. Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love ya Chris!!

My little ducklings!!!

So.. I found a picture of myself the other day. Yes, there are five little birds, so this is not a TRUE representation of my family...unless you count Chris=)))). Anyway, I often refer to my children as my little ducklings. To most outsiders looking in..(my house) on any given day, one would see me..followed by four small children at all times. Whether I am doing dishes, laundry, talking on the phone or sitting on the couch..there we are. I love it (most of the time). Today is my first day back to work after almost two weeks off. Wow, I miss my little ducks ALOT!!!! I can't wait until my working day is over, so I can be followed over the house. Go and make it a GREAT day. See ya all later!!

A Time for Giving

There are so many people that I am thankful for in my life. However, today I would like to focus on six individuals. Ryan and Melissa Pustay, Joe and Rachelle Gilbert and Sam and Laura Walsh. Without the help of these individuals, I'm not sure how Chris and I would have accomplished the home project that we have been working on. These men came to our house and helped Chris lay down wood floors and move furniture, without a second thought. I thank you for all your hard work and unselfishness. A huge thanks for the wives, for allowing us to use your husbands. This is the season of giving and we have received. I know that these gentlemen and women would give a hand all year round and I feel so fortunate to have all of you in my life. I love you all so much. Thanks for everything. P.S. I'm also thankful that none of you looked like this after the job was done=)).

Bragging Rights

I do have to say that I am very proud of all my children, as most of you are of your own. Two weeks ago was "drug free week" at school and all the children colored a picture of an animal, then they were judged and winners were announced at an assembly. Two children from every grade were chosen and Brynn was one of them. I thought I'd share just one of the many things that make me smile. I love my children SOOOOOO much, that I can't even begin to comprehend how much God loves us. WOW!! Have a very wonderful day=).

Captured

Hey everybody!!!! It has been brought to my attention that not many people are aware that our very own house band will be performing at the Apple-Umpkin Festival this Sat. I believe the show will begin at 3:00p.m. in the UBT parking lot. Please come and show your support for Captured and for our community. See ya there.
