Got Milk or Darth Baby

Originally, Trinity was going to become a pumpkin for Halloween, but I'm truly torn between "Got Milk Baby" or "Darth Baby". What do you think??? Just for the record, that is ice cream, not milk. She really enjoyed her treat.

Hey I was checking out the youth blog. Pete, you did a great job. I really liked the section for prayer requests. I am encouraging bloggers to visit the website so we can be praying for those youth in need. What a great ministry!!!!!!

Silly Friday

I thought because it is Friday that I would post a semi-silly Chris picture. He looks at me like this often...especially when he thinks what I am saying is a bunch of cow doo-doo. Don't get me wrong..there are many other looks. He communicates often with LOOKS. I love him dearly and I dedicate this blog to him. HEE HEE HEE. Should I show this to him...hmmmmmm??

Inappropriate Tactics

On Sat. Chris, I and the children were driving towards Platt Rd. on Washtenaw Ave. when we saw this sign that read something like this: Warning..disturbing partial abortion pics ahead. For about 1/4 mile there were about 10 pics of a baby who was victim of partial abortion. This was really disturbing for Chris and I, but the most disturbing occurance was when Brynn asked why they were holding pics. of a baby. Fortunately, she did not catch the grusome details that were displayed. I understand the point being made, however that was not the place...where small children were subjected to these pictures. Talking to Laura about this, she made the point that after the loss of their first baby, these pics reopen those wounds....the babies looked very similar...and this was not her choice. The tactics used were very inappropriate and hurtful. I'm sure that some of you may have experienced the diplay of pics., already and I hope that those who have not, don't have to.

Baptism

What a wonderful event that my family and friends were able to witness....the baptism of my dad. For those who don't know, technically he is my stepdad, but he treats me like a daughter. I am so proud and happy that he made the best choice he could ever make. He chose to be with the Lord for eternity and the angels were dancing yesterday. Be Blessed Dad. I love you.
